Pet Hospital offers overnight and day boarding for Dogs, Cats, Birds, Rabbits, and more. We call our boarding experience “Happy Campers” as we strive for all pets that stay with us to have a very happy experience while they “camp” here. We want them to feel at home with us.
Our Boarding facilities are all located indoors in our climate controlled building. All cats will have their litter box cleaned and changed as needed and receive TLC throughout the day. All dogs are leash walked outside 3 times a day with the exception of closed holidays, they will receive 2 walks. Additional walks may be available during regular hours for an additional fee. We are not a 24-hour facility.
We will provide bedding, bowls, water, food, leashes, and treats. If your pet is on a restricted or special diet, we ask that you bring the pet food with you. We will follow your feeding instructions to ensure that their eating habits are not disturbed during their stay with us. We ask that any personal toys, blankets, beds, etc., stay with you. Kennels are cleaned each day and laundry is done and sometimes items can get misplaced. We cannot guarantee the return of personal items left here.
Happy campers can come in and just camp for half the day or the whole day with us. We enjoy watching your pets and keeping them company while you are at work, gone for the day, taking a day trip, etc.
You can request to have your pet groomed prior to them going home. We can do a complete grooming bath or bath and haircut which includes nail trim, ears cleaned, blow dry, gland expression and brush out. We also offer a “clean up” bath which is just a bath and blow dry.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
We ask that all campers be here to check in 1 hour after we open and be picked up 1 hour prior to closing time. This will allow the camp attendant to check in and check out your pet in a timely manner. At check in the receptionist will have you fill out the boarding form, they will confirm with you if any other services like grooming, vaccines, etc., will be needed while your pet is staying with us.
The attendant will confirm all notes on the boarding form with you, look over your pet, and then will take your pet back. This is the best time to let them know more about your pet, like nicknames, specific areas they like scratched, or anything else that will be familiar to them.
At check in the attendant will look over your pet from head to toe and bring to your attention anything they see that may be a concern. If they feel that there is something that may need medical attention, they will bring it to the attention of the veterinarian and then they will discuss it with you. All of our attendants are medically trained to be able to spot any abnormalities in the pets that they are caring for. Ensure to leave a phone number where you can be reached, in case treatment is needed.
